Summer Competitive

High Performance

This program is designed to prepare athletes for a high level of racing. Athletes will train Monday through Friday in the morning with the goal of improving fitness and ability. The program’s focus is racing in a variety of categories boat classes. Interested athletes should speak to their respective coaches about the expectations of the program and whether they are a good fit. Athletes will need to show maturity, responsibility and accountability as some workouts will be designated as “on your own.” If you are interested in participating in this program please reach out to the following coaches, Women – Paul Ruggeberg , Men – Cary Wasserman

Intermediate Team

The Intermediate Team is designed to help athletes improve on their fitness over the summer while learning to row a variety of smaller boats (singles, doubles, pairs,) and introduce and refine technique in sculling boats. Athletes will focus on competing at local regattas in multiple events. This program is for athletes with one year of competitive rowing experience. If you are interested in participating in this program please reach out to the following coaches, Women – Nicole Chaloux ,

Summer Development Team

The development team is open to high school and advanced middle school rowers who are looking to row during the summer months. This team will help develop technical skills, improve fitness and provide a glimpse into the level of training required on the high school team. Rowers will practice both sweep and sculling.
